Experience the thrill of jetboating on the famous Waikato River. Combine 360° spins and passing nature by incredibly close at disorientating speeds for an amazing must-do visitor experience, before even reaching the awe inspiring majesty that is the Huka Falls. From the unique vantage point on the jet boat you have the best water level view of Huka Falls - New Zealand's most visited natural attraction. Half way through the trip, your boat driver will spin into Hot Water Beach where you will be served a beverage of choice by a tuxedo-clad waiter standing knee deep in the river.
Then step off the jetboat to experience one of the most unique fishing experiences, New Zealand has to offer - Prawn Fishing, at Huka Prawn Park. You will fish for the feisty prawn (all equipment provided), and the chef will even cook your catch - for free! After experiencing the thrill of landing your own fresh water prawns, take a stroll around over 6 hectares of beautiful park like grounds. Play and explore the fun water features, stroll along the riverbank in New Zealand native bush, feed the wild but friendly rainbow trout, before sitting back and soaking your feet in the relaxing Geothermal Foot Bath.
When you are ready to practice your golf swing, head up to the Killer Prawn Golf Platform. Tee off from the 3 meter golf platform and see if you can land your golf ball in one of the floating rings located within the Prawn Ponds.
Once you are refreshed, relaxed and all fished and golfed out, head into the breathtaking Riverside Restaurant and enjoy a scrumptious 3 course lunch including a glass of wine or beer to accompany, while watching the magnificent view of the mighty Waikato River.
