Rachel Hunter visits Hukafalls Jet
Easter is always a busy time at Hukafalls Jet, but this year was even more
exciting with the arrival of NZ's most famous supermodel, Rachel Hunter and her family.
Rachel is enjoying a kiwi holiday with her family and what better way to relax and enjoy Taupo than by having a thrill with Hukafalls Jet. This was the family's first time jet boating, and the certainly seemed to enjoy the experience!
Armed with their small digital cameras, they snapped loads of still and video footage as the jet boat zoomed along the Waikato River at 80km/hr to the base of Huka Falls. We thought for a moment they may have been fortunate enough to see some kayakers come over the Falls as a few guys with lifejackets on had been spotted at the lookout but we waited and noone came over.
Rachel also visited our sister company, Rainbow Springs and Kiwi Encounter while she was in Rotorua and got up close to nature during a behind the scenes tour of the kiwi conservation centre.
