2007 Hukafalls Jet Locals Day announced
Hukafalls Jet will hold their annual Taupo Locals Day as a weekend this year on 17/18 November.
Seats on the Most Thrilling by Nature jet boat adventure cost only $20 per person for Taupo Locals on presentation of some identification such as a utilities bill or drivers licence.
This year's event is supported by Radioworks who will be there to entertain thrill seekers throughout the day with great tunes, a sausage sizzle and loads of laughs!!
Hukafalls Jet will this year be donating all proceeds of the day to the National Kiwi Trust at Kiwi Encounter to ensure the ongoing kiwi recovery programme in the Tongariro region. There will be kiwi husbandry staff on hand to answer questions and a display by the Department of Conservation will offer loads of information on predator control and water quality. Kiwi Encounter have released over 100 kiwi back into our local region so we want to give them a hand to continue to increase this number!
This is THE locals' event of the year and usually sells out quickly as tickets are limited. Bookings can be made at Experience Taupo, 57 Tongariro Street from 12th November but don't forget to bring your ID at time of booking and on the day. There should also be limited availability if you wish to just come on down on either Saturday or Sunday.
